Author, playwright and publisher Felice Picano has written more than 20 volumes of fiction, poetry and memoirs. Along with six other members of the Violet Quill Club, Felice founded two publishing companies: the SeaHorse Press and Gay Presses of New York, which promoted great growth in the gay literary genre. As has been reported in The Advocate, “Picano’s destiny has been to lead the way for a generation of gay writers.” |
